The Story of Everyone Listening

I’m sure you’ve heard the quote:

“Sing like no one is listening. Love like you’ve never been hurt.

Dance like nobody’s watching, and live like it’s heaven on earth.”

Love it.

Great message.

And… because we are very advanced here at The Beehive, let’s kick it up a notch.

Want to?

What if you decided to sing like EVERYONE was listening?

What if you committed to love yourself and sing it proud no matter what anyone else said, did or thought?

Kinda like how I sing in my minivan when I’m driving carpool.

My son typically covers his ears.

My daughter sometimes rolls her eyes.

And my baby raises her voice right along with me. #favoritechild

I belt it out in my minivan because it’s fun FOR ME.

I know I’m not Idina Menzel and that’s totally okay.

I don’t have to be perfect at something to find the fun in doing it.

What might YOUR life be like if you didn’t require your perfection before your participation?

What if you were willing to do the things you want to do AND give yourself permission to enjoy them NO MATTER WHAT? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We are coming up on the holiday season, Bee.

What say you give yourself the gift of true love this year?

Be the person who loves you for all your quirks and shortcomings.

Be the person who sees your amazingness with an unwaveringly impressed gaze.

Be the person who adores how you mix up the lyrics and sing a bit underpitch.

AND be the person who owns it when you nail it.

Because often… you do.

You might worry that all this self-adoration will lead to arrogance.

It won’t.

I promise.

Because more love for you just equals more love in the world.

Can’t really go wrong with more love in the world.

So get to it.

Love yourself.

Celebrate your friends.

And sing like EVERYONE’S listening.

I’m Candice.

I believe that every wife ought to feel cherished and valued. Appreciated and adored. I know we can make that happen. Even if it seems impossible to you. I’m a Master Certified Life Coach and I spend my days coaching women who are afraid in their marriages. You and I can work together to find a way for you to trust in your own decisions instead of constantly reacting to his. Now’s your time, Bee. How much longer are you willing to wonder and wait?
