What are you wishing for, Bee?
A romantic trip for your anniversary?
Comfort in talking to your husband about a struggle your child is facing?
Collaborative and peaceful divorce proceedings?
A foot massage?
Tell me the impossible thing that you are too afraid to want out loud. Too doubtful to entertain the possibility, even for a moment.
Now lean close and listen.
What if you just decided to believe that the impossible dream you hold for your marriage wasn’t actually impossible at all?
I know what you’re saying:
It’s never happened before.
The opposite is actually happening.
You don’t know how to get from where you are now to where you really want to be.
Here’s something crazy… none of that matters.
Really. It doesn’t.
What if all that matters right now is that you crack open your brain to allow for the possibility that what you want could happen… that it might happen one day… even if you have no evidence to that end and even if you have no idea how it could ever come to be?
I’m telling you now that I know you can have whatever you want in your marriage.
But only if you do the work of allowing your brain to consider that what you want could be possible.
Take that step and then leave the door open for magic to enter in. Make the space and it will. Every time.
When you believe in possibility, you’ll notice opportunities you were blind to before. And you’ll feel braver about acting on them.
Do that a couple times over and viola! The impossible doesn’t seem quite so impossible anymore.
Funnest experiment ever.
Nothing to lose.
Your dreams to gain.
