You’ve heard the advice: Keep confidences in your marriage. Share only the best side of your spouse. Don’t air your dirty laundry. Talk TO him, not about him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m all in on most of that. Most of the time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because your relationship with your husband really is the most sacred relationship of your life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Except your relationship with you – if that one is suffering, your marriage is certain to suffer as well. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So yes, keep your circle small. Have your husband’s back. Might not be the best idea to blast him on social media or get in the habit of complaining about him to anyone willing to listen. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s possible to do all that and have your own back too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Let yourself be honest about what’s hurting – at least long enough to look it over and make some conscious, fully-informed choices about how to move forward. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That’s what we do for each other in my group coaching program. We listen without judgment. We offer perspective and a place to tell the truth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The space inside that small circle of sharing heals hearts. Saves relationships.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you want to know what we all know in group – but you’re not quite ready to share your story all the way out loud, that’s okay. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your healing circle can start very simply. With you listening to you. The Defying Gravity course can help you structure your time with you so that you can get something very similar to what we’re sharing with each other in group. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’d love to be part of your small, sacred healing circle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
